our Story

    Introduction:
Youth Society for Research and Action (YSRA) is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. This organization is a youth-based first national research organization in Bangladesh. Literally, It works with youths of the country in order to set off the research development especially to university students. It is a non-government, non-political,  non-profitable, self-initiative, voluntary, youth-based research society.

    Vision:
To promote research and higher studies among the students and enhance their skills to develop themselves and the nation as well.
    Mission:
1. Motivate and train students to involve in research activities and encourage
them to adopt research-based careers.
2. Conduct research works nationally for the betterment of the country.
3. Develop a strong network among Bangladeshi students, Researchers and Academicians living at home and abroad.
4. Provide guidelines and assistance for higher study and scholarships
5. Organize various capacity-building programs in order to enhance the skills of youth to make them capable of Global challenges
6. Participate in research with national and international organizations and with collaboration
7. Work passionately for the youth of our country based on patriotic philosophy

    Motivation:
YSRA started its journey with the motto of ‘Research & Reform’ on 17 September 2018 and is working to explore the spirit of research to the youth generation all over the country. YSRA intends to inspire, primarily, university students to devote and develop themselves for the research field. Where MD. Fozle Rabbi and Maksudul Haque Khan laid down the foundation of this organization.

    Engagement:
Fortunately, YSRA is run under the supervision of some scholars and professors in each phase in order to ensure quality. Furthermore, Foreign researchers, scholars of universities in or out, and research fellows of different institutes of Bangladesh are the resource persons of the organization. It has an organogram to operate all actions formally. Team coordinators collaborate to adopt research proposals, projects and take care of management on its work. This organization consists of the members, basically, who are students of undergraduate, Masters, MPhil, and Ph.D. from different Universities and institutes of Bangladesh. Any kind of anti-nationalism, anti-religious and unethical (based on our country
values) activities will be strictly prohibited.
